More about the trip
A canoe trip between Lunde locks and Vrangfoss offers world-class experiences. Here you can be pulled through the lock by the lock keepers that still perform the job manually. The canoe trip take you through some spectacular landscape and if you are lucky or plan well, you will meet one of the canal boats on the trip. The trip is suitable for both kayaking and canoeing and starting in Lunde due to the current conditions that provide some speed in this direction.
The canal boats also allow kayaks on board, so if you wish to return by canal boat you can buy a ticket for this.. There are toilets and a café/restaurant both at the start and end of this trip during the summer season.
If you do not have your own kayak/canoe, they are available to rent at Telemark canal camping.
