Welcome to Lifjell

Lifjell is the closest mountain if you come from Denmark or live in the central eastern part of Norway. Lifjell is just 8 km from Bø Sommarland and 12 km from Bø - the commercial centre in Midt-Telemark.

The Lifjell area is a mountain plateau between Seljord, Notodden and Bø. Most of the cabin areas are located around the Jønnbu area which is 700-800 metres above sea level. The high mountain terrain is like a miniature Jotunheimen - with 20 mountain peaks which are more than 1100 metres above sea level.
