Lifjell, situated just 20 minutes from the heart of Bø, stands as the nearest mountainous region for central Eastern Norway. Offering swift access to the mountains, your alpine or cross-country skiing getaway is conveniently close.

Encompassing the municipalities of Bø, Hjartdal, Notodden, and Seljord, Lifjell spans an expansive area of nearly 200 square kilometers. The high mountain terrain can be compared to a miniature version of Jotunheimen, with a number of majestic peaks reaching heights of over 1,200 meters above sea level.

Efforts are also put into the preparation of beautiful cross-country ski trails stretching over 80 kilometers, with an associated illuminated trail in the beautiful Nordbøåsen landscape.

The cabin areas and Lifjell Ski Resort are located here at impressive heights, between 700 and 800 meters above sea level, and providing good alpine skiing for young and old.
