Lifjell is 20 minutes from the centre of Bø. Lifjell is the closest mountain area for the whole of central Eastern Norway. You can get to the mountains quickly and your skiing holiday on alpine or cross-country skiing is well within easy reach.
A total of 80 km of ski slopes are prepared at Lifjell in winter and the slopes in Lifjell Ski Resort and Vinterland provide good alpine skiing for young and old.

LIFJELL SKI RESORT
Lifjell Ski Resort has great slopes with varying degrees of difficulty from 350 to 1200 meters, and Telemark's largest floodlight facility.

Norwegian ‘seter’ are mountain barns or enclosures and Hollane Seter is idyllically situated in the middle of Lifjell.
HEIT TELEMARK
Welcome to Heit Telemark, idyllically located by Norsjø. The sauna is located at Lien Gård where they produce fruit, berries and honey.
CABIN AT LIFJELL
If you want your own cabin in the mountains, Lifjell in Bø in Telemark is an excellent choice.
Lifjell spans the municipalities of Bø, Hjartdal, Notodden and Seljord, covering almost 200 square kilometers.
The high mountain terrain can be compared to a miniature version of Jotunheimen, with a number of majestic peaks reaching heights of over 1,200 meters above sea level.
Efforts are also put into the preparation of beautiful cross-country ski trails stretching over 80 kilometers, with an associated illuminated trail in the beautiful Nordbøåsen landscape.
The cabin areas and the ski resort are located here at impressive heights, between 700 and 800 meters above sea level.
Not far away you'll find Bø, a vibrant village offering a wide range of shopping opportunities, craft services, exquisite restaurants, swimming pool and a modern cinema.
