Sideriet is the brainchild of two childhood friends, Hans Olav Børte and Morten Espe. Upon returning to our roots from Oslo in 2018/2019, we were inspired to transform the apples from Hans Olav's farm into something special. Thus, the idea of crafting cider was born.
Since 2020, Sideriet has been in full swing, producing not only apple juice available at restaurants in central Telemark and our farm shop, but also our signature cider.
Explore the essence of our cider through three distinct battles: Nigard (formerly the farm at Børte), Vassås (our childhood mischief hub), and Haraholet (Hans Olav's grandfather's cherished hare hunting spot).
