Tip for sunset viewpoint near Bø i Telemark | 🏔️🌄❄️
Only 15 min drive from Bø you find the lake, Uvdalstjønna, and the famous hike “Gygrestolen”.
Near the lake, you find the small mountain top, called “Damfjell”, where you can hike up and enjoy the magnificent view over the landscape. The hike to the top only takes around 30 min, and is an absolute perfect viewpoint for sunset. 🌄
From here you can enjoy the view over Uvdalstjønna and the top of Gygrestolen with the setting sun over the mountains in the background - and in winter time you can still be home for dinner (what’s not to like?). 😍👍🏼

Pro tip: Make sure to wear snow shoes and eventually bring hiking poles in order to get safely up and down through the terrain. You can find the top, “Damfjell” on the app UT.no.
