The paddle trail on the Telemark Canal consists of 329 km of graded paddling routes, 29 trip suggestions with close-up maps and useful information for paddlers. All this in a free map book.

Paddle maps and Mini guides
We sell the paddling map for the Telemark Canal and are happy to send it by post if desired. The map costs kr. 149,- + postage. If you wish to receive free brochures in addition to the paddling map, such as the Telemark Canal, Summer Guide and pocket map of Telemark, extra postage will be charged.

Locking
Price for launching a canoe/kayak in the Telemark Canal: Kr. 180,- in Vrangfoss and Løveid locks, kr. 130,- in all other locks. Visit the Telemark Canal website for information about the lock facilities and safe lockage in kayaks/canoes.

Padleled Telemarkskanalen is a map book with lots of useful tips for paddlers, as well as 27 tour suggestions on the canal!
Rental and Transportation
You can rent canoes and kayaks of different sizes and levels. Need help with transportation? Rent a canoe trailer with space for up to 8 canoes and 14 kayaks.
