Lifjell covers large parts of the municipalities of Bø, Hjartdal, Notodden and Seljord - with a mountain area of almost 200 km2. The high mountain terrain is like a miniature Jotunheimen, with several beautiful peaks above 1200 m above sea level. The cabin areas and ski resorts are located at 700-800 m above sea level.
