Paddling Shelter at Norsjøtunet

At Norsjøtunet, you'll find a practical and free paddling shelter with a toilet. It's the perfect place to stretch your legs, grab a bite to eat or simply enjoy the beautiful view before paddling on.

What is a Paddling Shelter?

A paddling hut is a shelter or accommodation space specially designed for kayakers and canoeists. Paddling huts are available in several different modules and have been developed in collaboration with the paddling community to provide the best possible experience for everyone travelling along the Telemark Canal.

The architectural firm Biotope is behind the design. The paddling huts are part of the Vestfold and Telemark paddling trail and are open to everyone.

Where is the Paddle Shelter Located?

The paddle shelter is just a short paddle ride from Akkerhaugen, below the idyllic Norsjøtunet. No booking required.
