Skoeelva

Arrival by kayak or canoe. The river meanders through the landscape and the dense vegetation creates an exotic jungle feeling. Bring your swimwear, as there are several small bathing spots along the river where you can easily go ashore by canoe or kayak.

Torsnes

Located 1.6 km from Ulefoss town centre. Bathing area with diving tower. Torsnes guest harbour close by. Here you will find beautiful beaches, Torsnes and Sagmuggstranda. Both have shallow water and sandy bottoms, making them ideal for families with children.

Ulefoss Guest Harbour

Located just 300 metres from Ulefoss town centre. Idyllic gem with its own beach, facilities such as toilets and showers. Outdoor café selling food and drink.

Ulefoss Bathing Park

Ulefoss Badepark is located right by the Ulefoss Bridge along Riksvei 36, and is completely free to use. The area of Norsjø where the facility is located is so shallow that you can almost wade right out.

Kalvodde Outdoor Area

Located midway between Ulefoss and Gvarv below RV 36. The site has a fine sandy beach, as well as a toilet (outhouse) and rubbish rack. Great for families with young children. There are several swimming opportunities at the site, but it is best suited to older children/adults due to generally more difficult access and pebbles/shallow water.

Tvara

A popular small pond with a diving tower, located 4-5 kilometres from Ulefoss guest pier. The place is known for good bathing temperatures, but is not considered child-friendly.
