Nestled in the historic lockmaster’s house at Vrangfoss Locks, just 4 km from Ulefoss, Slusemesterens Veranda offers a truly unique dining experience along the scenic Telemark Canal. Built in 1892 and beautifully renovated in 2009, the house now serves as both a charming restaurant and a versatile event venue.

The restaurant is open during the summer season, from mid-May to mid-September, serving both lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy outdoor seating and a full range of beverages.

To guarantee a table, we recommend booking in advance.

The venue is also available for private events year-round, making it an ideal setting for weddings, corporate gatherings, Christmas parties, and day meetings. Capacity: approximately 50 guests.
